Last week, Reviver was represented at two of the industry's key gatherings in Vestfold, Norway – Avfall ved Kysten in Larvik and UiG-dagen, hosted by Sirk Norge in Stavern. The message from both stages pointed in the same direction: for Norway to succeed with the circular economy, material flows need to become traceable.

Reviver has joined the UN Global Compact – the UN's initiative for responsible business, and the world's largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative. With this, we formally commit to the ten principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to reporting on our progress every year.

Every year, Norwegian hospitals generate large amounts of plastic waste — enough to cover nearly 100 football fields. Much of this plastic is high-quality material with the potential to be recycled and reused. Together, Reviver and Ainir are building more traceable and circular material flows to help keep these resources in circulation longer.

Reviver is working together with the United Nations on a pilot project in Indonesia exploring how traceability, documentation and automation can help reduce plastic pollution and strengthen circular material flows.
